17. What song do you want to be played at your wedding? I really love Charlotte Church’s “From My First Moment.” But it’s more of a song for parents or a mentor. Oh, well. Maybe it would do. Some violin music is fine also. I love the sound of the violin.

Wednesday Breakfast

Because it was Wednesday and had to hurry, had to have quick breakfast and this is what I had:

The strawberries were a bit sour but still good. I was dreaming of eating some more the whole day.

Colors and Sounds

Did you know that colors have sound? Five musicians created songs inspired by a color. Five directors also made music videos for the songs. Among the compositions, my favorite is Marie Digby’s “Paint Me in Your Sunshine.”

I Love Tuesdays

Because on Tuesdays, the traffic is lighter — even in EDSA, commuting is easy, and I get to work early.

Tuesdays give me a chance to have a descent breakfast because I have extra time (usually spent in traffic in other days) to eat my almusal.

On Tuesdays, I usually attend a movie premiere. And I love movies! I don’t mind if I get home a little late and the next day is a working day.

Oh, I just LOVE TUESDAYS!

Something Old, Something New

This a long overdue tag. I was supposed to post it a long time ago. This tag’s from Rhapsody. She wants me to go over my archives and pick a few posts about:

• Family: Definitely, it’s “Laugh at Your Heart’s Content.” The post is composed of photos mainly but I think they say a lot about how we are in the family (meaning, the whole clan). Besides, those photos are among my most treasured — happy and carefree.

• Friends: From my Old Neighborhood. I grew up in the barrio, so the neighborhood is pretty tight. The other kids there became my first buddies before I made friends in school.

• Myself: Me, a Love Charm?! I still think I am. Read the post and tell me if my theory is correct.

• Choice: It’s about an old hobby, a Forgotten Passion. I’m trying to find time to do it. I will. Someday. Tell me if I should.

I’m Back!

I’ve been out of touch for more than a month! I didn’t realize it had been that long. But I’m back. A lot of things occupied my time the past month — at work, in my personal life, the family. So, how’s everybody? I hope your Valentine’s Day was great. Please tell me about it. And speaking of Valentine’s Day, this song was playing over the radio while I was on my way to work last Thursday.

I know it’s a mushy song but it was just perfect for the occasion! The lady sitting next to me was actually sighing, I swear! The one I listened to was a different version, by the way. Much better than Dusty Springfield’s (in my opinion). “Something in Your Eyes” is one of the songs in Claire dela Fuente’s new album. Listen to it. Fall in love.

Belated Happy Valentine’s Day! I’ll be in your blogs soon, people. And Rhapsody, I’ll do the tag really, really soon. I promise, I promise, I promise.
